MOSCOW, JUNE 29, NOYAN TAPAN. A retrospective show of Golden Apricot
International Film Festival Director, filmmaker Harutyun Khachatryan's
7 films ("Border", "Return of the Poet", "The Documentalist", "Kond",
"The Last Station", "Return to the Promised Land", "White Town")
took place within the framework of 31st Moscow International Film
    Festival held on June 19-28.

Andrey Plakhov, the Chairman of the International Federation of
Film Critics wrote in the catalogue of Moscow festival: "Harutyun
Khachatryan's films present pure types of cinematography by which
the director can express sharp and fierce contradictions of the
    modern world."

It should be mentioned that among the Armenian directors, retrospective
show of only Sergey Parajanov's and Artavazd Peleshian's films has
been organized up to now at any film festival. And organizers of
Moscow Film Festival expressed a wish to involve H. Khachatryan's
films as well, in the program of retrospective shows of such world
famous directors as Jerzy Skolimowski, Marco Ferreri.
