Baku. Elbrus Sefullayev-APA. Currencies of several countries
fell, because their economies are formed by capitals of foreign
countries. The process is observed in Armenia at present. There is not
any economic reason for decrease of the cost of manat in Azerbaijan,"
Nazim Mammadov, a member of the Parliament's Standing Commission on
Economic Policy told APA.
The MP said that the reports that manat will decrease in Azerbaijan
are not true and it aims to distract people's attention.
To him, people believing in the reports convert manat to dollar in
the banks.
"In such case, the cost of manat decreases artificially. People
shouldn't believe in rumours," he said.
