The United States are interested in the soonest resolution of the
Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno Karabakh and are ready to
assist to Azerbaijan and Armenia in this issue, said US ambassador
to Azerbaijan Anne Derse at a round table of the Caspian-European
integration business club on prospects of economic cooperation between
the companies of the United States and Caspian-Black Sea and Baltic
regions.
"The United States is ready to do everything possible for the
Armenian-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh finds its
solution. Yet, on the whole, the resolution of this issue depends
only on the conflict parties", said she.
According to her, the United States attempts to promote the negotiation
process.
"We recognize the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan. Yet we are not
completely familiarized with the position of the new administration
of the White House on this issue", said Derse.
