YEREVAN, MARCH 5, NOYAN TAPAN. It is too early to speak about radical
changes in the budget of Armenia, prime minister Tigran Sargsyan
said on March 5, when a reporter asked him if the budget will be
recalculated because of the global financial and economic crisis. He
explained that the budget's flexibility allows redistributing the
expenditures by quarters, not making some expenditures in the first
quarters and deferring them to the 4th quarter. In his words, if events
develop by a more optimistic scenario, there will no need for revision,
while in case of a pessimistic scenario, the government will address
budgetary problems.
