PRESIDENT OF IRAN INVITED SERZH SARGSYAN TO TEHRAN
The Foreign Minister of Iran Islamic Republic Manouchehr Mottaki, who
is currently paying working visit to Armenia, had a meeting with the
Foreign Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan. During the day, the
Foreign Minister of Iran will have meetings with the high ranking
officials of Armenia and late in the evening another meeting with
Edward Nalbandyan, announced Foreign Minister Nalbandyan.
The Foreign Ministers have discussed commerce-economic bilateral
co-operation, regional and international developments, establishing
stability and security in the region, the Nagorno Karabakh conflict
and its resolution, Armenian-Turkish relations, etc.
The Foreign Minister of Iran mentioned that he was paying his fourth
working visit within four year. He said that the Presidents of Armenia
and Iran are the architects of Armenian-Iranian relations because they
have put stress on co-operation in energy and transport, two basic
aspects of improved relations.
Manouchehr Mottaki said that the President of Iran Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
was inviting the President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan to Iran.
