SHANT HARUTYUNYAN TRANSFERRED TO PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL

Shant Harutyunyan, accused of the "Case of Seven" was transferred from
the "Vardashen" penitentiary to the Nubarashen psychiatric hospital
this morning.
The information was confirmed by press speaker for the Head of the
Penitentiary Department of the Ministry of Justice Arsen Babayan. He
informed that Shant Harutyunyan was taken to the psychiatric hospital
for forensic psychiatric examination and the decision was made by
the court.
As to how many days Shant Harutyunyan will stay in the hospital remains
unknown. Arsen Babayan told "A1+" that it depends on how much time
is needed for the examination.
Let us remind that Shant Harutyunyan is charged with the indications
stated in articles 225 and 300 of the RA Criminal Code, including
"organizing mass disorder with murder" and "state usurpation". The
judge has quashed his case until the end of the forensic examination.
