18TH ANNUAL CONFERENCE OF ACEEEO TO BE HELD IN YEREVAN ON SEPTEMBER 3-5

YEREVAN, MARCH 18, NOYAN TAPAN. A sitting of the Executive Board of
the Association of European Election Officials (ACEEEO) took place
in Sofia, the capital city of Bulgaria. The sitting was chaired by
Garegin Azarian, the Chairman of the ACEEEO Executive Board and the
Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia. Issues related to
ACEEEO's activities and current programs were discussed.
NT correspondent was informed by spokeswoman for CEC Tatev Ohanian
that an agreement on holding the 18th annual conference of ACEEEO
in Yerevan on September 3-5 was signed between G. Azarian and the
ACEEEO Secretary General Dr. Zoltan Toth. The chairman of the CEC made
reports on organization of the Yerevan conference and its subjects.
