Mika Cement plant to acquire equipment for about US$1 million in 2009

ArmInfo. In 2009 Mika Cement plant will acquire equipment for about
US$1 million, Mika Cement plant Director Naira Martirosyan told media.
She said a crushing machine has already been ordered for the plant from
the United Arab Emirates as well as motor transport. Investments in the
plant are currently calculated, N. Martirosyan said. 'We are preparing
a modernization project and several organizations are currently engaged
in it', she said. Earlier, N. Martirosyan said that Mika Cement would
invest 10-12 million euro in 2008 to activate a second flow line.
The 100pct owner of Mika Cement CJSC (former Hrazdan Cement) is Mika
Limited Holding. The holding acquired Hrazdan Cement in April 2001.
