ITEL.AM INTERNET PROJECT LAUNCHED IN ARMENIA

www.Itel.am (Advanced Armenia) internet project was presented in
Yerevan today.
"The project is a platform for and interactive coverage and discussion
of telecommunications, internet, IT and other innovations in Armenia,"
Ara Tadevosyan, director of Mediamax news agency, the initiator of
the campaign, told journalists on the occasion.
ArmenTel and VivaCell representatives also attended the presentation.
"Creation of such websites will help raise public awareness about
new projects cellular operators launch," said Ralph Yirikian, General
Manager of VivaCell.
For her part, Anush Begloyan a spokesperson for ArmenTel, voiced
hope that the launch of www.Itel.am will contribute to solution of
problems, concerning the quality of internet resources in Armenian
language and will facilitate formation of a "society of analysts".
