CATHOLICOS MET WITH THE AGBU PRESIDENT

On March 24, the Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II received the
president of the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) Perj
Sedrakyan.
The Armenian Catholicos expressed his satisfaction with the AGBU
activities. Perj Sedrakyan and Garegin II dwelt on the cooperation of
the Armenian Apostolic Church and the AGBU as well as discussed the
common educational and social programs.
Attaching great importance to the role of the Armenian Apostolic
Church in the religious life of the Armenian Nation, the AGBU
president assured that the Armenian General Benevolent Union will
continue assisting the Armenian Church, noting that the AGBU and the
Armenian Church have always implemented their mission in the life of
the nation, the press office of the Holy See St. Echmiadzin reports.
