CLINTON: US WILLING TO ASSIST IN PEACEFUL SETTLEMENT OF THE KARABAKH CONFLICT

On March 25 the Foreign Minister of Armenia,Edward Nalbandian, had
a meeting with the US Co-Chair of the OSCE Minsk Group, US Deputy
Assistant Secretary of State Matthew Bryza.
Matthew Bryza conveyed to Minister Nalbandian the message of the US
Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton, where recalling her recent phone
talk with the President of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, the Secretary of
State referred to the friendly Armenian-American relations, regional
issues and the opportunities of normalization of the Armenian-Turkish
relations.
In the message Mrs. Clinton expressed willingness to render every
assistance to the process of peaceful resolution of the Karabakh issue.
During the meeting Edward Nalbandian and Matthew Bryza discussed issues
related to the negotiations on the settlement of the Artsakh issue.
