ARMENIAN JOURNALIST INJURED IN ATTACK IN YEREVAN

ISTANBUL - Argishti Kiviryan, the head of the "Armenia today" Internet
agency, was attacked and severely beaten in front of his house in
Yerevan early Thursday morning, local media reported.
Kiviryan's wife told Armenian media that the journalist managed to
escape bullets fired from three unidentified attackers.
Kiviryan, who also works as lawyer, is currently receiving treatment
at a hospital, reports said. His condition is listed as critical.
Panarmenian.net suggested that the assault is linked with Kiviryan's
work.
