ARMENIAN "SAGHMOS" CHOIR WON THE 10TH INTERNATIONAL ORTHODOX SONG FESTIVAL IN MINSK

MINSK, MAY 5, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. The choir "Saghmos"
of the Kotayk Eparchy of Armenian Apostolic Church conducted by
Lilit Sargsyan won the 10th International Orthodox Song Festival in
Minsk. The choir was awarded prizes and diploma.
As the press office of the foreign ministry of Armenia reported, 45
choirs from 15 countries participated in the International Orthodox
Song Festival held between April 27 and May 2.
International Jury Chairman Fedor Povnin expressed his admiration
about Armenian choir's performance and gratitude to the Embassy of
Armenia for organizing choirs participation in the festival.
