100 ANNIVERSARY OF ZHAMANAK DAILY TO BE CELEBRATED IN NEW YORK

ISTANBUL, APRIL 28, NOYAN TAPAN - ARMENIANS TODAY. 100 Anniversary
of the Armenian Zhamanak daily will be celebrated in New York. The
celebration of the Istanbul-based Armenian daily is initiated by New
York Eparchy of the Armenian Apostolic Church and the Krikor and Clara
Zohrab Information Center and shceduled between May 16 and 17. As the
Marmara daily reports, English-language presentations are scheduled
during the first day of the celebration, and the next day speakers
will talk in Armenian at the reception and dinner. The editor of
Zhamanak Ara Gochunian will visit New York on this occasion.
