PARLIAMENT OF ISRAEL TO DISCUSS ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

Yesterday some media publications spread disinformation that the
Parliament of Israel has declined to accept the resolution on Armenian
Genocide in the agenda. But the reality is that the Parliament of
Israel has discussed on 5 May and adopted a decision to accept the
Armenian Genocide into the agenda. Currently it should be defined
which committee is authorized to discuss the issue. It was the
Government to say no to the adoption of the resolution. `The issue has
been put to vote and it was adopted. It is believed that the Committee
on Foreign and Security Affairs will discuss the issue,' Hakob Sevan
the representative of ARF Armenian Cause to Erusaghem told `Yerkir
Media' TV station.
