KARABAKH PROBLEM SOLUTION MUST BE BASED ON OBSERVANCE OF RIGHT TO SELF

A solution to the problem of Nagorno- Karabakh has to be based on the
observance of the Nagorno-Karabakh people's right to
self-determination, a high-ranking Armenian Foreign Ministry official
has said.
The settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict needs to be based on
the observance of the Nagorno-Karabakh people's right to self-
determination, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharian
told journalists.
Commenting on statements published in a number of Azeri media outlets
suggesting that the conflict settlement process is focused primarily
on the issue of refugees, Kocharian said these statements distort the
essence of the negotiating process.
