CONSTRUCTION OF RING-SHAPED ROAD AROUND YEREVAN ENVISAGED BY BARGAVACH HAYASTAN PARTY'S PREELECTION PROGRAM

YEREVAN, MAY 11, NOYAN TAPAN. "We should put an end to low-taste
changes and unauthorized development distorting Yerevan's architectural
face and look of Yerevan's residential, cultural, educational and
public buildings built by Tamanian spirit," the Urban Development
department of the Bargavach Hayastan (Prosperous Armenia) party's
preelection program mentioned. BH considers that Yerevan authorities
to be formed as a result of Yerevan Council of Elders elections should
spare no efforts in the issue of implementing any project only in
correspondence with Yerevan Chief Plan.
BH promises in the near future to implement construction and
reconstruction of residential houses for residents deprived of houses
due to pulling down accident-prone houses of 4th degree, as well as
to carry out reinforcement of accident-prone tenement houses of 3rd
degree. Besides, the party envisages to build a modern ring-shaped
road around Yerevan for cars running from country's north to south
and especially lorries to pass round Yerevan.
