"Erdogan's speech in the Milli Majlis again proved that the border
between Turkey and Armenia will not open until the resolution of the
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict", MP Nasib Nasibli told Day.Az.
According to him, a statement by Erdogan clarified the evil tendencies
that have recently emerged between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
"This was a significant response to enemies. Turkey has shown
solidarity with Azerbaijan in the Armenian issue. I have never believed
in opening of borders. I am also satisfied with the explanation of
Turkish Prime Minister that, as a rule in international relations,
the process is not made public before reaching the set goal. The
Turkish side also chose this tactic".
According to the parliamentarian, the Armenians once again violated
this rule. "The Armenian Diaspora wishes to use this situation in
order to spoil the relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey. If the
top officials of Turkey stated that the border does not open, it will
not open. Today's statement by the Turkish prime minister put an end
to this matter", mentioned Nasibli.
