PM TIGRAN SARGSYAN MEETS RUSSIAN DEPUTY PREMIER

Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received the delegation headed by the
Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Sergey Ivanov.
At the beginning of the meeting Sergey Ivanov extended condolences
on the blast at Nairit Plant and expressed willingness to render
necessary assistance.
During the meeting the interlocutors discussed issues related to
the spheres of transport and energy, as well as questions connected
with the activity of the enterprises transferred to Russia against
state debt.
The parties discussed issues related to the Kaucasus-Poti-Caucasus rail
and ferry route and the Novorossiysk-Poti-Novorossiysk car-ferry route.
The parties talked about Armenia's participation in the construction
works within the framework of the preparation for the 2014 Olympics
in Sochi.
The interlocutors emphasized the importance of the role of the
Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission, noting that it provides
an opportunity to reveal the potential of cooperation and embrace
new spheres.
