TRT2 television channel quoted Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip
Erdogan as saying at a press conference prior to a visit to Russia
that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is Turkey's national problem.
"We consider the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict to be Turkey's national
problem," Erdogan said.
The Prime Minister said some forces seek to undermine Turkey's
relations with friends.
"We share a unified position with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev
on the Caucasus," he said.
The Prime Minister said Turkey has never left Azerbaijan alone and
will never do so.
Erdogan said as one of the states in the region Turkey can not be
ignorant of the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem.
"Turkey can not be indifferent to the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh," he
said.
