FOREIGN AND DEFENSE MINISTERS OF ARMENIA TO TAKE PART IN NATO NORTH ATLANTIC COUNCIL MEETING IN 28+1 FORMAT ON MAY 20

ArmInfo. Foreign and Defense Minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan
and Seyran Ohanyan will leave for Brussels tonight to take part in
NATO North Atlantic Council (NAC) meeting in 28+1 format on May 20,
Foreign Ministry of Armenia told ArmInfo.
Prior to NATO NAC meeting, E. Nalbandyan and S. Ohanyan will meet NATO
Secretary General. Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan
(IPAP) will be also discussed during NAC meeting.
Cooperation between Armenia and NATO is carried out in accordance
with the Individual Partnership Action Plan signed in December
2005. Armenia's participation in IPAP supposes periodical consultations
with NATO on regional security, development of a security strategy
and military doctrine of Armenia, improvement of the defense and
budget planning process and other issues.
