S. FARMANYAN REJECTS THE EXISTANCE OF A "SPECIAL HEADQUARTER" SET UP IN THE PRESIDENT'S OFFICE ON MARCH 1 OR BEFORE IT

YEREVAN, MAY 22, ARMENPRESS: During the latest period news have been
circulating in the Armenian press that the former Armenian Head of the
Police Hayk Harutyunian stated in the NA that a special headquarter was
established in the Armenian President's office on March 1 or before it.
In response to the question of Armenpress whether this information
is true and what details may be revealed on the activity of the
headquarter spokesman to the Armenian President Samvel Farmanyan noted:
"No headquarter has been established in the President's office in
connection with the emergency situation announced on 1 March 2008,
neither before that, therefore it is impossible to provide information
about the activity of a "headquarter" which did not exist."
