ArmInfo. Having emaciated small and medium-sized business with taxes
the government is turning to big companies, says the director of
Political Economy Center Andranik Tevanyan.
In 2008 the Government smashed SME by abolishing the simplified tax. It
was a big blow on 26,000 tax payers. The introduction of cash register
was the continuation of this policy.
Since 2007 the enlargement of the budget has become an end in itself:
its expenses have almost redoubled while GDP has failed to grow for
as much.
Today, the only way for the government to increase the budget is
taxes. The goal of the government is to take a hold over the whole
of the country's business.
