ALEKSEY KUDRIN: RUSSIA TO TRANSFER $500 MLN STABILIZATION LOAN TO ARMENIA TILL THE END OF THE WEEK

ArmInfo. Russia will transfer the stabilization loan amount of $500
mln to Armenia till the end of the week, Finance Minister of Russia
Aleksey Kudrin said at the meeting with President of Russia Dmitry
Medvedev, the Russian media report. 'A credit agreement to $500 mln
for 15 years was signed with Armenia during the last week, and the
money will be transferred this week', A. Kudrin said.
To recall, on May, A. Kudrina and his Armenian counterpart Tigran
Davtyan signed an agreement on receipt of $500 mln by Armenia for
maintenance of the country's economy in the crisis conditions. The
credit will be provided by one tranche for 15 years at LIBOR +
3 rate. To also recall, earlier, Russia signed an agreement with
Kyrgyzstan on extension of $300 mln credit on preferential terms and
additional $150 mln on a grant basis. 'As for our bilateral relations,
both with Kyrgyzstan and Armenia, we shall keep on assisting our
close partners within the frames of the previously made decisions',
