ARMENIAN HEAD NAMES NEW ENVOY TO BELGIUM, FRANCE

Yerevan, 27 May: Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has appointed Avet
Adonts as Armenian ambassador to Belgium and head of representation
at the European Union.
Under another presidential decrees, Vigen Chitechyan has been dismissed
from the post of the Armenian ambassador to Belgium and the head of
Armenian representation to the European Union and has been appointed
Armenian ambassador to France, the presidential press service told
the Mediamax news agency today.
Adonts had held the position of chairman of the parliamentary
commission on the issues of European integration before being appointed
to the office of the Armenian ambassador to Belgium and the EU, and
had previously worked in the entity of Armenia's ministry of foreign
affairs for long years.
