PRESIDENT OF ARMENIA ASKS POLITICAL PARTIES NOT TO CREATE ADDITIONAL TENSION BY THE END OF ELECTION CAMPAIGN

ArmInfo. 'The TV companies could objectively cover the campaigning of
all the political forces participating in the election of the Council
of Elders of Yerevan', President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan said when
responding to journalists' questions during the festive events in
Sardarapat timed to the First Republic Day.
According to the president, the political forces used different
technologies during the election campaign - from the rallies and
processions to the meetings with electors in the yards. The Armenian
president urged and asked the political parties not to create an
additional tension by the end of the election campaign and continue
the process in the same spirit. 'I call on everyone to hold such an
election on May 31 which will become a basis for both our population
and the international organizations, to fix that these were the best
elections in Armenia', S. Sargsyan emphasized.
