NA deputy Levon Sargsian's bodyguards beat a number of journalists at
polling station N 9/1
YEREVAN, MAY 31, NOYAN TAPAN. Today, at about 10:25, NA deputy Levon
Sargsian burst into polling station N 9/1 and ordered his bodyguards to
take out correspondents of the Chorrord Ishkhanutyun, Hayk, Zhamanak
Yerevan newspapers Gohar Vezirian, Tatev Mesropian, and Marine
Kharatian. In response to journalists' questions, according to the
report provided to Noyan Tapan by the Armenian National Congress, the
bodyguards and their chiefs beat the correspondents, took away their
recorders and telephones and drove them away from polling stations. The
journalists are going to present a report to the police station on that
occasion.
