/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenia and Israel lack objective information about
each other, according to Alexander Tsinker, director of East European
States & CIS. Institute, member of the Knesset in 1999-2003.
"Armenia and Israel will still face a great number of difficulties on
some historical issues, specifically the Armenian Genocide," he said.
Dr. Tsinker said two geopolitical axes formed in the region. On the
one hand, it's Russia, Armenia, Syria and Iran; on the other hand,
it's U.S., Israel, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Jordan.
"Under the circumstances, Israel and Armenia are on the different
sides of the barricades. Any attempt at dialogue between Armenia
and Israel are perceived by Turkey and Iran as disloyalty," he said,
Caucasian Knot reports.
