Serge Sargsyan is surrounded by people a part of which we see and the
other part no, who just want "to drift with the current". The author of
this statement is the political scientist Igor Muradyan. He gave this
answer in response to the question on the initiative policy of Serge
Sargsyan. According to Igor Muradyan, he does not see any initiative,
and visits and statement are not initiatives.
Igor Muradyan stated he has lately been to a number of European
countries and met with circles of experts who said to have the
impression that Serge Sargsyan is ready and aims to yield the
territories. Igor Muradyan says this readiness seems surprising to
him. He notes no geopolitical centre demands territories from us
and surprisingly here people want to yield them. "Why do they want
to do that? It is incomprehensible," says Igor Muradyan and adds,
"it is clear, they have stolen for years and now they want to keep
what they stole". "That is all", says the political scientist.
At the same time, Igor Muradyan says ironically, "who are the Armenians
to yield or not to yield territories". According to him, many need the
current status-quo. Igor Muradyan means the super powers when saying
that the status-quo stems from the interests of all the world force
centers. According to him, his hope is on the geopolitical situations
otherwise everything is lost.
