TIGRAN SARGSYAN SAYS ARMENIAN CITIZENS ARE FIRST OF ALL CONCERNED WITH SOCIAL INJUSTICE ISSUE

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS: "Our studies and social polls
show that our citizens first of all our are concerned not with the
pensions and salaries, not with the unemployment and creation of new
jobs, not with the increase of prices and not with the Karabakh or
Genocide issues but with the issue of social injustice," Armenian
Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said today in his speech in the NA at
the discussion of the 2010 state draft budget.
According to the prime minister everybody must be equal in front of
the law, despite the official post, incomes and welfare.
"This issue will be under our limelight and in the first turn it
refers to big business. To restores its trust among the public the
big business must work transparently and implement its tax duties
with dignity," Tigran Sargsyan.
He informed that with that aim two important legislative initiatives
will be presented to the parliament: the first will refer to the
publication of the property and income of 500 high-ranked officials
and ensuring the transparency of business. On this way the applying
of the obligatory audit institution is an important event.
