'EDUCATION: IMPROVEMENT UNDER COOPERATION' FORUM GETS UNDERWAY

Today Yerevan is holding a forum aimed at expanding partnership
relations in field of education with involving of all interested
organisations and groups.
The 'Education: improvement under cooperation' Forum was attended by
representatives of acting in Armenia international and non-commercial
organisations, officials of Armenia's Ministry of Education and
Science and Ministry for Diaspora Affairs.
The chief objective is to classify programs which are promoted by
various organisations involved in field of education, then the forum
has a goal to involve the society into discussion plans on education
development, to create basis for cooperation with local and
international organisations.
"These all depend for great works, as not only financial matter
appears, but demand for changes in a mindset. It's necessary to
understand what we need to provide competitive quality of education.
There is a need in intensifying the partner's activities in field of
education, create new joint programs," said Minister of Education,
Armen Ashotyan.
Head of Standing Parliamentary Commission for European integration
affairs, Naira Zohrabyan, in her turn, said that Armenia's Parliament
will contribute to education reforming.
