AWARD FOR ARMENIAN JOURNALIST TOO

The "Journalists without Borders-Austria" organization has granted
awards to Armenian, Georgian and Azerbaijani journalists and one of the
journalists was Armenian journalist Mariana Grigoryan who received the
"Signal for Europe" award for freedom of speech.
Mariana received the award for a number of political analyses related
to the internal political state and freedom of press in Armenia. This
is the 14th award.
This year the "Journalists without Borders" organization has granted
Freedom of Press awards to two Azerbaijani journalists deprived of
liberty, including Eynula Fatullayev and Ganimat Zahidov. The Georgian
"Batumelebi" weekly was also awarded.
Jury member Albert Rohan mentioned that this year the winners were
chosen based on three standards, including quality of articles,
importance of the issue for the public and the courage of journalists
