>From 20 May 2008 by the Government regulation of the NKR, begin the
realization of the program in providing the disabled veterans with
the manually operated cars. According to the regulation, these cars
are granted to persons, who have permanent registration in the NKR,
termlessly recognized invalids of the first group in consequence of
received trauma or mutilation during the protection of the NKR. One of
these days at Stepanakert's Renaissance Square, the disabled veterans

At the ceremony the President Bako Sahakyan, Chairman of the National
Assembly Ashot Ghulyan, Prime Minister Ara Harutyunyan, the Primate

and government and other guests were present there. We can say this
program has not only social, but also a moral value. As noted in her
speech, the Minister of Social Welfare of the NKR Narine Ascatryan,
this was the fifth of the similar action over the past two years. "The
native land remembers and honors its brave sons, and each such event
testifies about that in accordance with the chosen course of the
new authorities all the started programs are being realized, aimed
at the prosperity of Artsakh and the welfare of the people. It is
pleasant to realize also that due to growing prestige of our state
our compatriots-patrons desire to assist in the implementation of
the program ", - said Narine Ascatryan.
The Minister, in particular, mentioned Arthur Varzhapetyan, with the
financial support of whom the next six cars had been obtained. By
the way, this is not the first participation of the benefactor in
the program: he previously provided the disabled veterans of the
Artsakh war eight cars, which is the best way to integrate them into
society. According to N. Ascatryan, the first stage of the program
is completed, but the implementation will be continued. Today 39
invalids got the cars-8 in state budgetary funds, 31- at the expense
of the charitable programs. The Minister expressed her appreciation
to the benefactor.
The good wishes to the veterans of the Artsakh Arthur Varzhapetyan
also spoke. "In the selfless struggle you liberated native land,
bringing peace to the country. We in turn will do our best that
you will live with dignity in the liberated territory, "said
the philanthropist. On this day, the owners of cars became six

Bagdasarian (Stepanakert), Vachagan Manasian (Martuni, village Sos),
and Vladimir Santuryan (Martakert). A. Varzhapetyan personally handed
the keys of the cars. Two disabled Nicholas Baghdasaryan and Vladimir
