/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The issue of normalization of Armenian-Turkish
relations had been already settled for Armenia and Turkey by
superpowers, Aharon Adibekyan , Sociometer center director told a
    news conference in Yerevan today.

According to him, the superpowers create a new system of global
communication: two new global transportation routes pass via Armenia,
one horizontal, which will connect the Black Sea countries with Europe,
Asia and Africa; the other one vertical, through which Russia will get
access through the territory of Armenia to Iran and India, " Aharon
Adibekyan said, adding that neither Armenia, nor any neighboring
country will be able to resist the process.

According to him, besides the those highways
Russia also projects to establish rail corridors
    "North-South ": "Adler-Sukhumi-Tbilisi-Kars-Gyumri",
    &qu ot; Adler-Sukhumi-Tbilisi-Yerevan-Meghri-Iranian
    Julfa ", " Derbent-Baku-Anzali-Astara-Enzeli ", "
    Derbent-Baku-Ijevan-Yerevan-Gyumri-Kars ", " Russia-Kazakhstan-India
    "and" Russia-Mongolia-China ".

According to Aharon Adibekyan, 40 per cent of Armenia's population
are indifferent to the process of normalization of Armenian-Turkish
relations, since, in his opinion, opened borders will not affect
their lives or activities. The remaining 60 per cent are divided
into 2 groups: the first group will receive a new opportunity to
develop their businesses, and the second group will suffer, since
the whole Armenia's business will re-directed to new markets. "Today,
geo-economics prevails over geopolitics," sociologist said.

"Armenia must do everything to get out of this situation and win,
not lose," the Armenian sociologist stressed.
