YEREVAN, OCTOBER 8, ARMENPRESS: Nearly 160 businessmen will take part
in the "Pan Armenian Expo 2009" international exhibition which will
be held October 23-25 in Yerevan.
Head of the Department for support to entrepreneurship of the
exhibition-organizer RA Chamber of Commerce and Industry Massis
Sargsyan told Armenpress that 130 businessmen from different states
of the world have already presented applications of participation as
well as preliminary agreement has been reached with 30 businessmen.
The exhibition is being held in Armenia for the third time, within the
frameworks of which Armenian businessmen from different states of the
world as well as from Armenia will present their product and provided
services and will get acquainted with the Armenian Market. Within the
frameworks of the exhibition a pan Armenian business forum will be
held during which the businessmen will get more closely acquainted
with the activity of each other.
According to M. Sargsyan, at present the themes to be discussed during
the conference are being clarified. "We put the main stress to the
promotion of the Armenian manufacturer. Armenian businessmen, getting
acquainted with their partners from other states and establishing
ties with them, get opportunity to export their product to other
markets. We invite Armenian as well as foreign businessmen from
different states. With its traditions this is a universal international
exhibition in which enterprises launching activity in most different
directions will partake," M. Sargsyan said.
According to him here the factor of the Diaspora is great; each
exhibition participating businessmen from Diaspora is a potential
investor.
The exhibition will contribute to boosting the activity of the
Armenian manufacturer as well as create a healthful competitive
environment. This time the Chamber of Commerce and Industry invites
not the institution representing the business commu rsonally the
businessmen themselves.
