ArmInfo. Armenian Ambassador to Italy Ruben Karapetyan hands over
materials on desecration of Armenian monuments in Nakhijevan to
Riccardo Migliori, the head of the Italian delegation to OSCE
    Parliamentary Assembly.

The Armenian Foreign Ministry press-service reported that the parties
discussed the Armenian-Turkish process, Karabakh peace process and
activation of Armenia-Italy inter-parliamentary cooperation. As regards
the Karabakh conflict settlement, Ambassador Karapetyan highlighted
Azerbaijan's speculations on "occupation of territories," "refugees,"
and "destruction of cultural heritage" and other issues. He presented
some materials on destruction of monuments of the Armenian cultural
heritage in Nakhijevan and other Azerbaijani territories. For his part,
    R. Migliori assured the Ambassador that the Italian delegation will
do its best at the OSCE PA to help the Armenian party and present
    Armenia's stand.

Afterwards R. Karapetyan met with Franco Vaccari, Chairman of
Toscana-based Association "Peace Fortress" and members of the
organization with participation of R. Migliori. The Association
representatives informed the Ambassador of the results of the
international conference devoted to the Caucasian nations held on
May 16-19 and presented the document adopted at the conference. The
document contains proposals on promotion of the dialogue, respect
and trust between the Caucasian nations, as well as on settlement of
conflicts, establishment of peace and stability in the region.

The parties agreed to involve the Armenian youth in the work of the
Association and to organize joint conferences in Armenia and Artsakh.
