The Armenian Revolutionary Federation will demand reducing the
dangers of the protocols, otherwise it may even demand President's
resignation, Head of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF)
Bureau's Hay Dat and Political Affairs Office Kiro Manoyan told a
press conference today.
Tomorrow the document on Armenian-Turkish relations will be signed in
Zurich, Kiro Manoyan said, referring to the Swiss party. "According
to different sources, US Secretary of State Hilary Clinton, Russian
Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, French Foreign Minister Bernard
Kouchner, as well as the European Commissioner for External Relations
are expected to arrive in Zurich.
In case the European Commissioner does not come and the document is
signed in presence of representatives of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair
countries only, it will become clear that the protocols are somehow
connected with the Karabakh settlement, Kiro Manoyan said.
Manoyan is assured that Turkey ties the Armenian-Turkish relations
to the Karabakh issue and will prolong the establishment of relations
as long as the Karabakh conflict is resolved.
"Turkey will not ratify those protocols until there is progress in
the Karabakh issue," he said.
