/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenian-Turkish rapprochement is not currently a
priority task for Ankara, Kiro Manoyan, ARFD Hay Dat and Political
Affairs Office director, told a news conference in Yerevan. "Today,
Turkey's priority task is the solution of Kurdish and Cyprus issue. As
regards rapprochement with Armenia, Ankara here is more interested
in process vs. result," Manoyan said.
Speaker ruled out possibility of Turkey's procrastinating or annulling
Protocol ratification. "A majority force in Turkish Parliament is
Justice and Development Party. But Turkish Premier Recep Tayyip
Erdogan has already announced that parliament may hold a secret
ballot. If Armenian parliament also chooses the same method, I am
sure the majority will vote against Protocol ratification," said Hay
Dat office director.
