/PanARMENIAN.Net/ "We still believe in promises of the Turkish
authorities not to open borders until the solution of the Karabakh
problem. But the general atmosphere prevailing around agreements
signed between Armenia and Turkey prompt us to doubt these statements,
" the deputy of the Milli Mejlis Asim Mollazade said.
According to him, signing of the agreements between Armenia and Turkey
has resulted in the situation when Armenia changed its position. "As
for Azerbaijan, we have always advocated for peace and tranquility in
our region and we are always concerned to settle the conflict quickly,
and if any country, member of the OSCE Minsk Group, is ready to make
efforts, we would only welcome it," he said.
According to Mollazade, the future relations with Turkey will
remain strategic, however they need to be deprived of the emotional
component and more pragmatic policies should be to adopted. "By the
way, pragmatism should be in our relations with Russia and the United
States, and with all countries. In this regard, we must intensify our
diplomacy in different directions to become more active, " he said,
