BURSA MAYOR GIVES INTERVIEW ON BANNING AZERBAIJANI FLAG DURING TURKEY-ARMENIA FOOTBALL MATCH

The Bursa Mayor gave an interview on the prohibition of the Azerbaijani
flag at the Turkey-Armenia football match held in Bursa on Oct.14,
the Turkish embassy told Trend News.
The Azerbaijani flag is as dear to the Turkish people as Turkey's flag,
in addition the Turkey-Armenia football match was organized by FÄ°FA,
the mayor said.
The Turkey-Armenia football match was organized by FÄ°FA and we
had to adhere to common rules and principles, the report said. The
mayor has denied a ban on the Azerbaijani flags saying that about
238 Azerbaijani flags were waving during the match at the stadium.
