ORACLE DAY WORKSHOP FOR THE BANKING SECTOR HELD IN YEREVAN

in Yerevan today. According to Global SPC CEO Armine Hakobyan, Oracle
is a multimedia company to provide software solutions for corporate
governance, for financial and banking sector. "The best banks around
the world are using Oracle , and the use of Oracle's products will
enable our banks to climb one step higher and raise their level to
the level of the City Bank, Bank of New York," she added . According
to her, the use of Oracle products will also improve the safety of
the Armenian commercial banks making them more accessible worldwide.
Director of the Department of Eastern Europe and CIS of Oracle Bob
Grogh reported, that company's profit reaches 23.3 billion USD, and it
annually invests about 3 billion USD in research and development. The
company produces 3000 products and has 345 000 customers in 145
countries, Oracle's personnel reaches 85 000.
