    Security in South Caucasus, in particular Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
    resolution, Armenia-Turkey Protocols signed Oct. 10 and Turkey's
    policy to ensure stability, cooperation and peace in the region
    were the National Security Council (MGK) meeting core issues, held
    Oct. 20 and chaired by Turkish President Abdullah Gul, Turkish Haber

    Following an 8-hour meeting, the National Security Council approved
    the decision to keep on fighting against terrorism, proceeding from
    Northern Iraq.

    The meeting also considered Armenia-Turkey Protocols in terms of
    bilateral relations establishment and prospects of impact on the
    current regional conflicts, particularly Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
    settlement, the source informs. Meanwhile, Turkey's efforts in the
    conflict resolution were again outlined. Under the Council decision,
    Turkey will continue intensive assistance to the stability and
    cooperation, as well as creation of confidence in the region.
