At today's press conference, Republican Party MP Razmik Zohrabyan
responded to the question whether the noise and complaints raised
by the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun, or ARF-D),
and the opposition's position in general, is part of the leadership's
"plan."
The MP stated that such opinions are without basis, adding that
ARF-D's protests are the results of having their own approach.
Commenting on the doubt that ARF-D is in fact an opposition, Zohrabyan
said the reason for that is that ARF-D was part of the leadership
until recently, and besides, it doesn't criticize certain steps made
by the country's governing leadership.
"ARF-D has extensive experience in building relations with Turkey,"
Zohrabyan continued, stating that ARF-D's previous unsuccessful
experience is the reason why today they oppose the signing of the
Protocols.
