YEREVAN, OCTOBER 21, NOYAN TAPAN. RA NA Speaker Hovik Abrahamian
receiving Tina Kaidanow, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for
European and Eurasian Affairs on October 21 attached importance to
friendly relations between RA and U.S. and cooperation in political,
trade and economic, military, cultural, educational and other spheres.
He highly evaluated positive involvement of the U.S. in the South
Caucasian region.
During the meeting the interlocutors discussed the issue of normalizing
the Armenian-Turkish relations without preconditions, as well as
touched upon the process of strengthening democracy in Armenia.
According to a report by the RA NA Public Relations Department,
Ambassador of U.S. to RA Marie Yovanovitch also took part in the
meeting.
