AMBASSADOR OF RA VASILY GHAZARIAN HANDS HIS CREDENTIALS TO PRESIDENT OF KYRGYZSTAN KURMANBEK BAKIYEV

BISHKEK, OCTOBER 26, NOYAN TAPAN. Ambassador of RA to Kyrgyzstan
Vasily Ghazarian on October 22 handed his credentials to President of
Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev. During the conversation following the
ceremony of handing the credentials the interlocutors touched upon
the Armenia-Kyrgyzstan relations and prospects of their development.
K. Bakiyev said that active cooperation between the two countries
within the framework of CIS, CSTO and other organizations creates
positive preconditions for development of the relations.
Both sides emphasized the necessity of development of economic
cooperation and paying high-level mutual visits.
According to the RA Foreign Ministry Press and Information Department,
the same day V. Ghazarian handed the copy of his credentials to
Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kadirbek Sarbayev.
The office of the RA Honorary Consul to Kyrgyzstan was also officially
opened on October 22 in Bishkek.
