NATIONAL AIR CARRIER OF ARMENIA WILL INCREASE THE NUMBER OF FLIGHTS TO EUROPEAN COUNTRIES

October 26. /ARKA/. National air carrier of Armenia, the company
"Armavia" will increase the number of flights to European countries",
said Mikhail Baghdasarov, head of the company. "Armavia" will expand
its activity and we discuss the opportunity of flights to Europe,
particularly Italy and Switzerland", he said.
Frequency of the flights will be significantly increased. Baghdasarov
said that if currently there are three flights in a week to
Switzerland, in the nearest future it will be four. In future there
will be seven or eight flights in a week. "Armavia" will have three
flights in a week to Italy.
Armavia was established in 1996 and in 2005 full package of shares
was transferred to Mikhail Baghdasarov, President of the company
"Mika Limited".
There are three Ð~P-319, two Ð~P-320, as well as Boeing 737-300,
CRJ-200, TU-134. At present, the company makes about 250 flights
monthly at more than 30 directions.
