ARMENIAN NUCLEAR POWER PLANT [ANPP] CONNECTED TO ENERGY SYSTEM OF THE COUNTRY

ArmInfo. On 23 October Armenian Nuclear Power Plant [ANPP] was
connected to energy system of the country after repairing since 5
September, Director General of ANPP Gagik Markosyan told ArmInfo
correspondent.
He also added the power block with one repaired turbine joined the
net. The repairing work was finished 2 days later because of technical
reasons, he said. At present capacity of the acting power block of
the plant is 200 MW.
Markosyan also said that after capital repairing of the second turbine
of the reactor it will be commissioned till 1 November 2009, and the
capacity of the energy block will reach about 400 MW, he said.
