BRITISH COUNCIL MARKS 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF ACTIVITIES

work in cultural relations.
"We have been developing and changing to meet the needs of countries we
are working with. The work of British Council is 75 years of exchange
of experience, cultural relations and confidence between the countries
wishing to establish firm relations with Europe," Mr.
Michael Bird, director of British Council Southwest, told a news
conference in Yerevan.
British Council has worked in Armenia for 7 years. "We are
collaborating with governmental structures and raise awareness about
migration and corporate social responsibility in business sector.
Green Office, BC's new trend, aims to protect environment," BC Yerevan
office head Arevik Saribekyan said, adding that the Council's work
helped establishment of mutually beneficial relations between Armenia
and UK.
