TAX PACKAGE COMPLETELY APPROVED TODAY IN THE SECOND READING

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 29, ARMENPRESS: With 73 for, 4 against and 12
abstained, the Armenian parliament approved today in the second reading
and completely the tax package presented by the Armenian government
suggesting changes in laws "About Taxes", "About Excise Tax",
"About Value Added Tax", "About Income Tax" and in the legislation on
Administrative violations. The package particularly intends applying
of tax body representative in the big tax payers' companies.
The duties of the tax body representative have been clearly defined:
the latter is authorized to control only the physical volume of the
issued product, sale price and documents connected with the sale
only. The representative will not interfere into the production
process.
Head of the NA's economic affairs standing committee Vardan Ayvazyan
said that the tax body representatives will be in 60-70 companies.
