EU WELCOMES THE PROGRESS IN ARMENIA-TURKEY NORMALIZATION

President Serzh Sargsyan received the EU Special Representative for
the South Caucasus, Peter Semneby, President's Press Office reported.
The President of Armenia and the EU Special Representative discussed
regional issues, particularly those related to the Armenian-Turkish
normalization process. Peter Semneby said that the EU welcomes the
achieved progress and stands ready to provide further assistance to
the process.
The two sides exchanged views on the process of ratification of the
Protocols and stressed once again that the establishment of bilateral
relations must take place without preconditions and in a reasonable
timeframe.
